We are a non profit grassroots initiative to provide economic opportunity for village youth in Sri Lanka, by using the internet to outsource office services from an urban to a virtual rural setting. It's a value adding activity, creating sustainable employment opportunities within the village environment to rural youth who are currently gaining competency in English language and computing skills at teaching academies in the provinces.

Our mission is to encourage such youth, who are spread over the rural landscape of Sri Lanka , transcending both ethnic and political divides, to establish outsourcing business units of their own in their respective rural environs and compete profitably in the global economy.

FARO is working with several key national and international organizations in establishing the right infrastructure at select rural sites, supporting with training, project management, start up funding, and in finding outsourcing opportunities.
