This will be FARO’s third replication of its successful rural BPO model.Uduvil is a village to the north of Jaffna township in an area that just emerging from a thirty year civil war that had deprived its youth from a fair opportunity in employment and career development .We will locate this BPO at the premises of the Uduvil Girls School ,one of the oldest schools in the country with a well managed campus and infra structure support. This unit will primarily cater to school leavers who do not opt for higher college education to find careers in the outsourcing industry.

The work for this BPO will be provided by Hayleys PLC , the well known multi product blue chip company in Sri Lanka. The primary funding for infra structure and training cost will be through a grant from the ICTA. We expect to launch this BPO in the first half of 2011.
